What is the Working With Children Check?

The Working With Children Check is just one part of keeping our children safe.

It is a requirement for people who work or volunteer in child-related work. The check involves a national criminal history check and a review of findings of workplace misconduct.

Once an applicant has been cleared, the Working with Children Check is valid for 5 years. During that time applicants are subject to ongoing monitoring.

Twirling NSW requires all coaches and volunteers to have a valid Working With Children number. Working with Children numbers must be supplied during registration.
